Does any one have any experience with the 120 gr ballistic tips ? I would like see what kind of performance they have on game. How do they hold together and do they tend to expand very quickly on game like the other ballistci tips ? Someone told me the 6.5 were a little tougher.

thanks

I have shot 2 deer with a 264 Wm and this exact bullet, one was a head shot so its irelavant, but it did not exit, the second deer i shot was a small doe in the boiler room lung shot, worked great! did not find the bullet but was a looney sized exit hole!

Hi thanks for the link, it looks pretty good compared to the Hornady 129 gr a currently have. I will have to give them a try and see how they shoot.

I have also shot two deer with the 120one was a doe at about 80 yds,she went 40 yds and piled up,small entry larger exit not much meat lost, heart shot.
Other was a buck about 180 yds,same results,he ran about 80 yds(straight at ME) piled up.I use a rem. .260 loaded to 2900 fps.

never have killed or hunted with them but have shot paper with them in my 260. They are ok but no more accurate than the less expensive 129 interlock. In my first 260, I shot alot of them as they'd shoot real well. But I still used Partitions for hunting then

I will see how they work as I have been getting good results with the 129 gr Hornady's and just wanted to see how these work as the a quite large in the area I hunt and was worried with the penetration of the BT's

penetration is not aproblem, neither of my bullets were recovered.
Tod is right about the accuracy,in my mountain rifle they will put three shots into less than an inch at 200 yds.
