Nosler brass .308

I'm almost ready to reload my .308 for hunting. But I am just learning about Nosler brass. I do know its twice the price of regular brass, but is it worth it? I only plan to full length resize and trim.

No! Get Norma once fired , shop around, its pretty cheap at times.

No experience with it myself, but there seem to be a lot of reports of the primer pockets loosening after only 4-5 loadings. Lapua has similar case volume.

If you want the highest achievable velocities, go with Hornady. It has the most case volume of any 308 case (slightly more than Winchester).

For hunting, Winchester, Remington, Norma etc. will do just fine. Be sure to work up your load from the starting minimum.

Nobody is perfekt, but when you can get once fired Norma for dirt cheap, and the gun likes the starting load and shoots well, why not?
