How does Nosler brass compare to Lapua or Norma? It is a step up from Winchester/Federal/Remington?

Due to brass shortages, and the poor quality of the last batch of Winchester brass I recieved, I am looking at picking up some new Nosler brass.

Nosler are genuine Norma brass, one of the best, buying 600 rounds of 308 165 gr Accubond was for the brass, the actual ammo was cheaper than buying brand new Norma brass... JP.

Nosler uses multiple suppliers for their brass, Norma being one of those suppliers. I find Nolser brass very consistent dimensionally, but a little on the soft side. I much prefer Lapua brass.

I've done great with 22/250 and 204. 300 win, 300 Weatherby and 300 Ultra were all too soft. Consistant as hell, and not good for much. I've got quite a few boxes of new stuff around, can't be bothered to open the boxes.

Since I only neck size, and will be using 7mm08, 270 Win, 325 WSM and 7mm STW New brass I'll give it a shot, those are the only 4 I "need" more brass for atm.

Last year I picked up 2 packs of 50 brass for 30-06. I was necking them up to 338-06 then fire forming them by shooting 225gr hornady pills pushed with a mild load of varget.

After 2 loadings, fire form, neck size, then reload, fire. I had 60 pieces that showed a visible crack the circumference of the case about halfway between the web and the shoulder. I had 10 cases that had a complete case head separation.

Compared to Winchester brass, some of which are on their 10th loading......

I have some federal brass on its 5th loading.

All out of the same rifle......

I sent 50 of the pieces to nosler. I was told to take a flying f*ck at a rolling donut. No warranty as I necked the brass up to 338.......

Nosler brass? Never again mon ami!
