Hi

Just wondering if anyone who's the best supplier for Nosler Brass? Haven't seen it on the shelves and don't want to blindly order it from somewhere I'll have to wait 6 months to get it.

Thanks,

Wilbar

Nosler are supplied by Norma, one of the best... JP.

According to Nolser, they source their brass from multiple sources, with Norma being one of those sources. As for the Nosler brass that I used, it was very soft, compared to other manufacturers.

I believe the Nosler 7mm RM brass I was using was made by Norma. After two firings the necks needed to be turned.

I had to reduce my loads by about 100fps compared to other brass, to keep the primer pockets from loosening significantly after only a few loadings.

I always reload a brass only once, i only neck sized, all the brass will have being shot from my Nemesis, i have a big supply of Norma once fired ( bought 600 Nosler Accubond 165 gr last year... JP.

I often load my Lapua brass a dozen times, or more, and my Remington brass at least eight times.

I do it by choice, but i dont trow them away, i will full resized them and reload them for my other 308, XCR-M, TRG, Scout, Steyr... JP.

Nosler brass is made by almost every brass manufacturer, most likely cheapest bid gets the contract. They use remington, federal, and winchester for everything unless it is only made by Norma.

I was using Nosler brass a lot lately but have found many loose primer pockets out of the box, or after one firing where winchester brass didn't. Nosler brass is very uniform, well sorted by weight and chamfered, deburred, flash holes and all, it's nice but much too expensive when it doesn't last as long as the cheaper stuff.

Hmmm, Thanks guys.

I'm considering an alternative to Rem Brass for my 350Rem Mag. Saw that Nosler carried it and was thinking of giving it a go. Would like to try Winchester cause their Brass has a fair reputation(although a little thicker, less capacity, by some reports).

I have used Nosler brass in my 2506 AI,280 AI,308 WIN,my last purchase is 6.5 x 55,5 case needed alittle bit of brass removed from the primer pocked, but they are very uniform in weight, fired 50 rounds of factory norma 6.5 x 55 with 130 gr bullets, the cases all needed alot of brass removed from the primmer pockets and the weight varried alot over 6 grains.
Nosler have worked for me.
2506 AND 280 BRASS HAVE BEEN RELOADED SOME 5 TIMES SO FAR WITH WORKING UP LOADS.
