Nosler e-Tip Bullets

Looks like this is in direction comptition with TSX/TTSX.

Not sure if any Canadian dealers carry it. Has anyone use it?

I used them in my 7mm SAUM this year when the gun didn't like the 140gr TSX. I only shot a deer so penetration can't be judged as it went out the otherside. They were very accurate.

I will probably try them in my .284 at some point, but I would probablt shoot the ttsx first.

It is not surprising that these other companies are now introducing lead free bullets since California banned bullets containing lead as of July 1, 2008 in certain areas. No doubt more bans will follow.

Just bought a 50ct box of .277", 130gr, to try in my 270WSM.
Time will tell.

FWIW: P&D seemed to have a good selection of E tips in stock today.

I tried the 150 gr Etips in my 280, found they fouled terribly and accuracy was inconsistent, especiallly after a dozen shots

I am not rushing out to try them again

Like any new products, it takes a season or two to get the bugs out.
