Nosler has revamped the Accubond for 2013.

If I was 500+ yards away from a moose, that happened to be standing in the back of my pick-up when I looked back, I would probably shoot it where it stood. Other than that I prefer to call them closer or stalk to within 150- yards.

You must be driving a dodge then, to not be worried about shooting it! Laugh2

Will this be a game changer for 98% of practical hunting situations? i.e. Game taken within 150 yds...

I think people are watching too much WildTV!

Can't wait to get a box of the 150gr pills for my .270 and work up a load. Sometimes "I just get closer" doesn't cut it in the alpine and these bullets seem to have a design that will work from close to far!

Ain't that the Gods honest truth. Been busted too many times at 400+ mtrs up in the rocks and moss. Getting closer ain't always in the cards and walking away ain't in my nature, so I'll take all the help I can get with velocity and BC.

I would rather have the energy and not need it (<150 yard shots) than need it and not have it.

And not much of a price difference compared to normal Accubonds. I don't see how using these could hurt at all.

Actually if you price these out they are cheaper than accubonds which are normally 45 or 40 per 50. I just hope this bullet stays together at close ranges.

It might not be a partition, but it is still an accubond, just a slightly different shape. I am sure it will perform admirably from close to far.

The accubond of either old or new is 50 times the hunting bullet the Bergers are. Or are we talking match bullets.....

Don't get me wrong, Bergers are quite usefull as a hunting bullet, for those patient and smart enough to only take shots that will work for the Berger. Think of it as long range bow hunting.
