Nosler m48 9.3x62 kaboom..whack

57.5" thanks everyone. 2*C today and all week, he'll hang until saturday!

BUM, I basically need copper bullets to make up for all the accidental bone crushing I do. I'm not sure why I keep driving them in the shoulders, in my head I'm shooting for the ribs! But better safe than sorry here I guess....if he had made it into the water I would probably still be out there!

I didn't have good results with the 286 Barnes in my 9.3...couldn't get the speed out of it and it took too much case capacity. Bring a good Fudd, I'd go with a 286 A-Frame because I just can't bring myself to switch to lighter weight bullets. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool heavy bullet guy. You could also try some of Marshal's 270gr bullets (I guess they're technically not Marshal's anymore since he sold Matrix) which have proven extremely effective on heavy game.

Marshal sold Matrix ??? Nooo.
BUM.....could you please PM me what you know about that ??

Nothing too secret squirrel...it's on the main page of the website. Company still exists and is still in Canada so that's a good thing.

Matrix Ballistics

I have reached an agreement to sell Matrix Ballistics Ltd. effective August 29, 2016 to Stephen Baardsen of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.

I would like to thank all my loyal customers who have helped build Matrix Ballistics into the best custom bullet manufacturer in Canada and appreciate their loyalty and friendship over the years.

Steve can be reached at his email address matrixballistics@shaw.ca

The website will be down until October when it will be returned to full function. Steve's production plan is to start to produce 6mm 105 grain VLD's in October and be ready to ship by November 1st, 2016. He will produce them until new jacket inventory arrives for other bullet calibers.

Please contact Steve to arrange purchase and shipping dates.

Thank you again for everything.
Marshal Ambrose

I think it was Ted that first put me on to Marshal and Matrix Bullets. That was a little while back when he was located in Crofton here close by on the island. I did stop in to visit him, see his operation and pick up a few of the hunting bullets he produced. Some 290gr FB bonded for my ".366 Wagner" as well as some 270gr bonded and some 300g FBRN bonded for my 375 H&H and 375 Chatfield Taylor. Sounds like he's getting out of the game, to a degree at least. Sorry to hear that.

don't derailllll this great hunting post!?

You done well not to let the moose back into the water! as u say that would of been a night mare recovery
