This is a 7mm 168 Accubond lr. You can see a ring around the bullet, can feel it as well. Seems like a joint in the tubing when it was swaged?IMG_2414.jpeg

I too have found Nosler's quality control dropping. :(

I used to use nothing but Nosler brass, bullets, etc. But with their pricing going through the roof and their QC going down-hill, I won't buy Nosler once my stock-pile is depleted.

Nosler needs to get their QC back on-line and pull up their panties so to speak.;)

Meh, my nose isn’t too far out of joint, throw it in with the Fowler bullets.
I’ve shot many bags of nosler seconds over the years (not this batch) and never seen this curiosity.

Of the thousands of Noslers bullets I reloaded, I only found one that was defected..............a fantastic batting average!

I opened a box of 9.3 mm Nosler Accubonds last year and did a quick inspection prior to loading. I found one bullet that had the cannelure in a completely different spot than the rest of the bullets - not even close actually. I contacted Nosler. They were apologetic and wanted to replace the bullets, but since I was in Canada, they said they could not do anything - so tough luck. I loaded it as normal, just couldn't apply any crimp to that round. No big deal I guess, but poor QC.
