Nosler Solid Base and Ballistic Tip?

Are these the same bullet just label differently? They sure look and measure up the same. Do they have a difference in constuction?

The solid base bullets were lead tipped.

Yes, I have seen the ones you speak of but the ones I have, have the same plastic tip as the Ballistic Tip's. If it makes any difference these are factory seconds.

Solid base bullets from nosler are lead tipped. An old design preceeding Ballistic tips.

I have 5 or 6 boxes of tem still. They have worked great or me.

The sold base bullets eventually morphed into the Ballistic Tip.

So maybe these are the very last before being called Ballistic Tips because they certainly don't have lead noses. They have the brown plastic tip like all .264 Ballistic Tips.

I'm going to treat them like Ballistic Tips. Not going to hunt with them so don't have to worry about that.

The Ballistic Tip IS a solid base design.
Let's describe it this way:
All Ballistic Tips are Solid base with a plastic Tip
Solid base bullets are not necessarily Ballistic Tips and have an exposed lead tip.
I have a few of those old Solid Base 7mm/150 grain bullets on hand.
