Just got a Daisy Model 25. Version made between 1938 and 1952. Older than the one I had 60 years ago as a kid - mine had plastic stocks, this one has wooden butt and pump.
Nice find, tiriaq. Is it still in working condition?
There were about 58 variants of the Daisy Model 25 made from as early as 1914 to 1979, when the model was initially discontinued. For additional information, see Tom ###lord's (B.B Pelletier) blog http://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2005/11/daisy-no-25-pump-bb-gun/ The Model 25 was the subject of countless requests to be brought back, so Daisy reintroduced it in 2010.
I replaced the barrel/magazine assembly. Will eventually replace the trigger spring. Shoots well. Out plinking around the yard yesterday. Floating leaves on the pond, etc.

I have a target with 4 ducks & a reset 'button' in the centre. You shoot the ducks, a magnet holds them down & when you shoot the centre button, the ducks pop back up! FUN FUN FUN!
I should also say that the Daisy Red Ryders we have don't have enough oomph to knock the ducks down & reset, but my Gamo 440 does! I was actually worried that the Gamo might blow holes through the target, but it only leaves dents... Chuckle
