I am trying to keep this on a professional level, I am making every effort to address your concerns....Perhaps you may think it is my issue, however I am simply stating the facts.... Please explain how not receiving YOUR e mail is my issue.... I do not own the IPs or the carriers...

I will call you tomorrow, I'm an old retired fart, I have been emailing for YEARS man, its NOT my end.I will call you tomorrow, no more #### on here......I hope. I understand what your capital letters are for, I dont have a problem with that. I have phoned and never got past the order dude, maybe this time it will work. I wasn't only referring to your issue, most people seem to complain about email issues.
 
Yes, I have no problem with the bold letters or with Johnone, I will call him tomorrow and I'm sure then my problem will be resolved. I really do hate to air my laundry this way, it never started off to be like that, I just asked a question and well.....things just went pear shaped. Anyway...again, I'm really not whining, just want info and I think I'm on the right track. Its great we have a forum to pose questions, I'm very grateful for it.

If I might say, your order/shipping system is beyond innefficient. Your receptionist transferred me to order dude again who "went to his his shipping book" next thing, he was gone and Agath was on the line saying "you order will be shipped today" which means order dude I spoke to on Friday lied to me because he told me it shipped on Friday. Can you see why I'm frustrated?
Obviously you are frustrated, now that I have a name to work with, lets take a moment to examine your file
You placed your order on November 16th by phone....
Your order was picked, inspected and packed Nov 17th
Paperwork etc was sent to invoicing for processing on Nov 18th
The CFC transfer request was filed the same day (Nov 18th)
The CFC issued the transfers for the two rifles on November 22nd at then end of our work day
Today (Nov 24th) The invoice (#1N41###) was generated at 09:33 hrs
Your credit card was debited at 09:37hrs
The waybill was issued by Canada Post Your parcel went out today, your tracking #1008 #########x


I really needed to get this order by Dec 1st, thats out the window.
Keith, we have done our best, as you can see the major delay was the CFC NOT Marstar...


I asked Agath could I have my tracking number,
These are normaly sent by e mail the same day the shipment takes place,once the shipment has in fact left our facility that only took place at 2:05pm, it is now only 4pm, please allow us a little time to deliver the information....

until I get that I just dont think I'm going to get it. Was the transfer done? Again, I have no idea. anyway, I can do nothing because you were not there to take my call,
I have already apologized for attending in court rather than stay here for your call....

I emailed you my phone number, you didnt get my email......it just goes on and on.
I thought we had covered this, if you question my honesty fine, but when I do not receive a message for one reason or another, what else can I say ????

do not shop online from places in alberta they are nothing but trouble.if you want to get something you have to go to the store or els you will be very disapointed
 
Hi johnone, My point, from the beginning and still is your abysmal way of tracking orders. If you shipped it today why did your order dude tell me on Friday it was going out "today"? Everything you did was fine, the dates, no problem... My comment was what appears to be a total lack of a system to inform customers where there order is without posting on a public forum to get info. I have ordered $10 items from private individuals on Ebay, on various sites both in Canada and the US. Almost always I get a tracking number when stuff is shipped. I dont have to call and find out where my stuff is and I never have called anyone, until now. You can argue, analyze until the cows come home but your system stinks. The ONLY reason my order was shipped today was because I whined, yes, I whined. For a $400 order, you should make sure you have an automated system that lets customers know if how and when their order is sent out.
No, I am not questioning your honesty, I'm questioning your system. If you think you run a tight ship thats fine. Opinions are like you know what, everyone has one and they all stink. My opinion is you need someone to come in and put your system on track. I think its a low blow to suggest I thought you were dishonest, chill, its business , you put yourself out there. I am NOT questioning your honesty, I am questioning why your system of tracking is so bad. You are dealing with firearms, your system should be better than most. Anyway, all that being said, I appreciate your personal attention and I'm sorry I didn't know you were called away like that. everything else I said, I stick by. Its over, I'm happy.:):cheers::)

I recently purchased an H&K USC from P&D. Nothing but love......seriously....she's a beaut and so were they. I don't know what this guy's talking about. Perhaps one bad experience? :confused:
 
oops my bad your web page is so bad i just assumed you were from alberta. all my experiances with trying to shop online from shops in alberta have been poor. wrong product desciptions. items that are not in stock are advertised as in stock. slow shipping. slow responses to inquieries. but all experiances in store have been great.
 
As of 23:30 Pacific time, item is in Ottawa. Son's birthday is dec 1st, expected delivery is Dec 4th. If order dude had sent it out Friday it might have made it.................
 
Sounds to me like the transfer probably got forwarded to the provincial CFO. Sometimes happens for non-restricted guns, especially if they are low serial number or any number of other unexplainable things. Who knows, maybe they just forward 1/100 or some metric for extra diligence.

I've dealt with Marstar a fair bit over the years. Their service has always been first-rate on the phone. Email/online, I think they have a ways to go.

Its not a dig at John - I know whats involved in setting up a first-rate online commerce website and business. Add in the complications of dealing in heavily regulated and controlled firearms and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Personally I'd rather just spend a few cents of long distance than to see every Marstar price go up 10-20% so they can have a fancy state of the art e-commerce website.
