Not a shortage there is no 22 RF in most of Canada

i just ordered a bunch of .22 LR from cabelas they have fed 525 boxes back in stock! max of 2 boxes allowed though. lots of cci back in stock too!

I live in Edmonton and I just picked up ten bricks of 525 from Peavy Mart in Spruce Grove, and they were on sale for 25 bucks each. I think you're looking in the wrong spots.
 
Was at my CT today they just got a shipment in of 22 lr ammo , 20 boxes of Rem sub sonic $ 7.99 Each !

7.99 + 13 % tax ( $1.04 ) = $ 9.03 a for a box of 50 rounds of 22 Rim fire OMG .

Glad there is no shipping costs involved ........................................................................f:P:

The CT at Cold Lake is well stocked, so is Sylvester's Sports in Bonnyville.

I purchase most of my rimfire match ammo at Prophet River. (SK/Lapua)

Plenty of HP or match between these 3 locations.
 
Canadian tire in cobourg is maintaining a decent supply of 22 lr. Mostly Remington and Winchester bulk and Sellier & Bellot.
 
Well, supplies around here have definitely dried up :(

Local Walmart usually always has Remington 555's and 333's. I was there Saturday and shocked to see that had Nothing for .22 at all.
Tried our local Crappy tire this morning... Not a single .22 round to be found in the place.

Two local sources that usually have .22 of some kind, totally cleaned out :(

There was a guy at the gun show here this past weekend selling Remington 555's for $55.00, I just laughed and kept going. Considering no one has any .22 locally I have to wonder how much this guy actually sold at that insane price.
 
I went for a drive today checked 4 towns . most had Winchesters. they ranged anywhere for 10/20 cents a round brutal
 
Heard from a friend in Montreal , he went to 4 WalleyMarts stores and was told by the sporting goods manager that they will not be carrying any more 22LR ammo , all 4 store were sold out a long time ago ... is this a sign of things to come ?
 
Happy as pig in #### I hoarded up with family and friends, It's nothing for us to shoot 5000 rounds in a single day at the farm. Several adults and 5 kids with 10/22's equipped with drum mags and banana clips... I recall when canam had 10,000 round family packs last year, now - nothing. All local stores around here are out.
 
On a random trip to the Walmart in Victoria today, I found a lone box of 500 Winchester Wildcats for $28. At the till they rang up at $15 :D :D :D :D They were out a couple of weeks ago but restocked so take that for what you will.

Island Outfitters has many 500 boxes at $35. CT @ Langford is running 500 for $58 or something like that, but they seem to have a few. So I guess it depends on where you go.
