Not allowed to sell any IVI components anymore on the EE? Why?

Just saw the new rule posted about not being allowed to sell any IVI components on the EE unless you are a dealer. Is it considered stolen property or what?
 
so what happens if I buy 1000 pieces from a dealer and then sometime down the road decide that I want to sell off a couple hundred pieces?? If it was sourced from a legal source in the first place then why can we not legally sell it privately amongst ourselves??
 
What's next? Maybe the prohibition of Arcteryx LEAF clothing sales? Since only Law Enforcement Armed Forces personel are allowed to buy it from Arcteryx..

probably..........unless of course your a registered seller..............oh wait I guess you'd be in the national badge registry data base right???
 
Who? no point in banging our heads. Who pulled this pin and why? lets get a name and reason. tons of ivi from the rangers in 303 floating around. If it is illegal then I would guess the sellers are in trouble... lets see how that boat floats. If the mods are not prepared to step up then wtf?. Mods reply please.

takes longer then 1 hour to get a response, they don't watch every single thread on a 50' monitor.

but the rule sure seems odd...
 
"The sale of IVI ammunition, components and spent casings are disallowed in the Equipment Exchange forum.

Only business members are allowed to offer IVI brass or casings in un-demilitarized form in calibers equal to and no larger than 50 Cal.

Any non-business members that solicit and offer any IVI ammunition and/or components will be immediately removed from the equipment exchange forum and banned from the forum. "

best to explain why, about now! Sounding way to much like kim Campbell. Anybody else sense a wimp alert?
 
The wording has issues.
"Only business members are allowed to offer IVI brass or casings in un-demilitarized form in calibers equal to and no larger than 50 Cal."
I read that part as, only .50cal brass can be sold. Does that mean .223/5.56 and .308/7.62 brass or not OK for business members to sell?

Also, "un-demilitarized" means militarized, right? So, what is militarized brass exactly?

Not trying to be an jerk, I just think this should be clear and want to understand the terminology. Cheers.
