When I get more time, I want to do more development on a 308 cast bullet rifle I have. Using a custom mold 200gr 'VLD' cast bullet, these slugs have performed well at 180yds. Now to see how they do much further.

It is a lot of fun...

I had a load for 308 using H335 and a 200 grain cast bullet that shoots very nicely out of my M305, cycling the action very gently and dropping the brass about six inches to the right of the bolt. This was fairly accurate as well with a one inch group at 50 metres.

Well a little more fun today. I ended up yesterday at 29gr of 3031 and worked up to 31 today which is a grain below data I have for these 265gr .376 GC bullets.

The groups shrunk from 2" yesterday to a little under that, then about 1 1/2" and the final load of 31gr right at 1600 ft/s printing under an inch. I think I'll quit there, on to the next puzzle....
