Not exactly Black or Green but its short!

DA JW-83 Backpacker buttstock - removal

I got one of these Dominion Arms Backpacker 12ga shotties (H&R Clone), does anyone know how the butt stock is attached to the receiver? I'd like to put a single point attachment on it.

The DA JW-83 Backpacker buttstock is attached to the receiver with a 13cm (~5.25") slotted hex bolt - M10 thread. The buttpad is attached with two self-tapping Phillips head wood screws - about 1.5cm from the edge of the wide/round/top and 2.5cm from the narrow bottom end.

I found the hex aspect of the bolt to be useless as it does not sit centered in the (2cm diameter) hole and thus a hex socket may not fit over the bolt head. A long flat-head screw driver is in order - 10-12" long.

PDF manual for JW-87 (83) at Century Arms. - p. 8-12 for exploded view with parts list.

Great post FFF! Does anyone know if the stock bolt on an Outlaw would be the same M10 (I assume this is a metric thread? - I am useless mechanically) thread as the Backpacker?
