Is there a B.C. hunting organization that might be able to do something about that?
It was tried. Several special interest groups put a stop to it. Our fishing license fees all go back to the resource. Not hunting though.

OP bought 4 tags in June and didn't receive them. He subsequently followed up on the matter 2 months later and was informed that he was required to follow up on missing tags within 15 days of purchasing them. Because he didn't do that, he was told to go to a license issuer and pay $10/tag to have them reissued
With a true priority system like Alberta uses, there is no maximum points, your odds of drawing do increase every year that you apply.
Ok, so.with that system you just make it harder and harder for new guys to draw each year. Also not good.
So what you're saying is the OP is faced with an additonal $40 fee because he chose to ignore reading the fine print before applying for tags?
Jeez OP, admit you screwed up and pay the fee.
Nearly everyone on this forum has #####ed one time or the other about all levels of Canadian "government" being "Nanny States". Yet sometimes when someone forgets that they are an adult, responsible for taking care of their own affairs, they want to blame that same government for not holding their hand and wiping up the tears.
