Not much review for the JAE-100

How do you like the stock so far? Worth the roughly $1000?

What do you think of the Accushot scope? Like it? Decent quality?

Does the JAE-100 come with the rail on the bottom that your pibod mounted to?
Thanks.

See my post above. I've included your answers there.

Yes

With the arms you may have to dremal a little notch in the handguard like you would a GI one.
Best to track down a flush set screw.....someone out here knows the pitch and size.

Cool. Could you mount a Smith Enterprises mount and scope on a stock Norinco, and then later add a JAE-100, or would you have to buy a JAE-100 first and adapt the scope mount to the stock?

Norinco M-14S
JAE-100 stock in coyote brown
ARMS 18 mount
Rock Mount 9-13" swivel mount bipod
Accushot 8-32 x 56, 30mm tube, illuminated mil dot
- 1/8" clicks, 25 MOA in eac direction
- side wheel parallax adjustment
- high rise rings

15 pounds, all up, with a 'fully' loaded mag.

The rifle has an extended bolt catch, solid op rod spring guide and USGI spring. There is also a buffer intalled behind the spring. The stock is very comfortable and well balanced. As you see it, is the way it comes, including the bottom rail. Various spacers in the cheek rest and butt allow for fine tuning the fit. I really like the stock. If you have the money, I think it's worth it. Very well engineered and thought out.The scope is very clear and well made. It has seen a few hundred rounds, so far, and hasn't lost it's zero. The side wheel allows for very fine focus, at all ranges and magnifications. There's been no problem with ejecting cases hanging up under, or striking the Arms mount.

Wow! What kind of groups do you get with that?

You can use the smith mount with any stock, except for a SAGE or a Troy set up.......so a JAE or USGI stock would work perfectly.
