The other night I dreamt that I was shooting a deliberate with a baby crawling and bouncing on my back. It was my youngest boy Gabriel (almost 1 year old). Doesn't need much analysis does it.

I scored a big fat zero.
I wonder if they make baby ear plugs?

This happened to someone else at CFSAC a few years back and would make for a great nightmare.

I am working as an ARSO and the shooters get told to move up onto the line for match 5 I think it was.
Shooters ordered to load and ready.
Then one of the shooters starts to get that full panic body language.
Go over and he is tapping and racking but getting no where.
The rifle refuses to chamber a round despite the increased violence.

Guess you need to put the bolt and carrier in the rifle EVERY morning.

Add zombies or your enemy of choice and this one has legs.

2 years ago, one of the guys on our team in the defensive fire match try to engage targets without the BGC in the rifle.

I got extra rounds to shoot and of course we lost big time.

Always room to improve the mental game.

I'll set ip a target in the hall and start some dry firing drills with the boy jumping on my back and see if that helps. Note to self: "Shoot while the kid is in mid-air just before impact".

It's a sign that you need more work on your mental game.

Ha excellent.Your mental game will be bomb proof after that!

So the other night I set up a very small 1/16" dot on a piece of tape at the end of the hallway and set myself up in the prone unsupported position about 30 feet back to do some dry firing.

This time I had two boys jumping on my back.
I called about a 50% hit ratio so the dream was vastly inaccurate. This is my practice regime for CFSAC 2012. The other Rangers don't stand a chance.
