Not sure what I'm looking for in a single shot, advice needed.

Hey guys,

I bought some of those barrel sleeve 12 gauge plugs that allow you to fire .38 special from a shotgun. My problem is that the extractor claw on the 870 and defender is chewing up the sides. I think the solution would be to get a really cheap single shot. It's hard to shoot .38 special with a bead sight, but I can't think of any common single shots that have rifle sights. Does anyone know where I can get a sub $100 single shot with rifle sights? I don't even care about the choke or the condition, it's just for fun really.

you could have them installed....if your gonna use it often....other then that your kinda SOL

While it appears he has been banned, the OP could just go and purchase a NEF Handi-Rifle in .357 and have a purpose-built arm in that caliber for what a single bbl 12ga with sights would cost

Look into the H&R Pardner series. In their deluxe line you can get models with screw-in chokes. Or you can just buy one with a fixed choke in each of full, med, ic.
