I'm sorry it took so many shots and had to piss the bear so badly rather then a clean kill....

Maybe you should change your tag to "Mr.Perfect" ...Why not keep the comments to yourself Im sure he didnt do it on purpose. Poor bear boo hoo :rolleyes:

Congrats on the bear Riley, a dandy for your first(?) We've all had the "learning experiences". What makes the difference is you DID learn from it, where's some would continue to do the same until they get mauled.

Nice crest on that one too!

FWIW it's worth I'm going out this weekend and I will be hunting the same way. Quad, glass, walk, hopefully spot a bear feeding at long range or EVEN BETTER, catch a sow with a big boar trailing her.

Republic of Alberta, we are heading to the Tower. I remembered that Sunday WMU-349 is closed. So we will be at the first Swan. Maybe see you there?
