Not to complain, but are the 1911/ammo combos being held up intentionally?

First off I am not normally one to complain, I love CanAm's products and expect a bit of a wait so I don't mind waiting. BUT I have noticed something strange.


My 1911 transfer from the ammo combo is being held by CanAmmo I think. I recently called the Ontario CFO and they were able to finish a transfer for me that was a bit of a rush and was started after I already had a transfer started with CanAmm. While I was on the phone I asked if they could also look at my 1911 transfer and they were able to confirm they had it but said something weird. They said that it was being held till the end of the month. I know I am not the only one that has experienced this as others have confirmed that there's is also on hold by canamm according to the CFO.

I am just curious as to why? It does not make sense to me that the retailer would request the CFO to hold a transfer on their behalf.


If this is just normal procedure please let me know. I will delete this and call myself a dumba**. I'm not in a hurry to get the 1911 as I have lots of other things to occupy myself with but this seems to be a bit of a mystery to me.

I've gotten my second combo in 12 days from sending my order till receiving a call from Canpar.
I believe your situation is just a sad accident and it will be resolved ASAP.
 
Edit, got my answer, they have moved and just waiting for new paperwork to come through. Can't wait to get my hands on this deal!
