So looking for some stuff on youtube and I came across this video again.

Then I started thinking about getting to the range and excuses I came up with, to cold, to much work etc.

Then I (once again) realized I don't really have an excuse as to why I'm not shooting/practicing/training more often.

I was watching some magpul carbine course stuff and came across part of their dynamic tactical carbine thing and they had an afghan vet in a wheel chair running the courses with guys who could walk. I was amazed at how good of a shooter he was, no assistance from anyone with his chair. On one course he was shooting off hand with one hand! While he balance his chair with the other hand and he was shooting better ten other guys in the course. Really inspiring stuff

I like when I see stuff like this

At our range we have a guy who is basically paralyzed or not in control of 95% of his body, he has movement of his head, and he can slightly move his fingers and thats it. So they rigged up a contraption that hooks onto his chair that holds a shotgun or rifle and puts a wire across the trigger. They load him up and he shoots by pulling the wire. I see him shoot 12GA magnum shells all the time, its awesome

I have no excuse. Good on him for getting out there. I was thinkingIm a little to tired to go today, but after seeing that ...

Paul G

That's Paul G (Hell on Wheels). He is an avid course attendee and shooter who was wounded in Iraq and I beliieve he's a former Marine.

He personifies the term "mindset" and is a very postive person. I haven't met him personally yet but his adaptability and positive attitude are inspirational.

He is well known amongst guys like Vicker's Costs, Haley, Defour, etc and has taken many of their courses.
