Let's see what we have for more interesting targets.
I'm finding the old standard bullseye pretty boring these days.
I found this one on rimfirecentral, along with some other pretty good ones.
Look at the bottom of the forums listing page under Targets. They are downloadable as .pdf files so we can all get them. No, I won't download them for you!
This is the 20 yd version with 3/8" "tacks", there is a 50yd (1/2") and a 100yd (1") version as well.

I shot this with a CZ 455 American (22 LR) and a Leupold rimfire scope, using a bipod and rear bag, prone. Your shot must break the inner edge of the black ring to count as a hit.
Here's another really nice one. Do a Google search for "jalas cool target", it'll take you to a rimfirecentral thread. The link to target downloads is in post #3. That is a tough target! I haven't made it into the 40's yet and probably won't. It's a lot of fun even at 20yds, and a nightmare at 100 yds.

If you have something interesting you shoot, post it up! Please share!

How do you score that target? I assume one shot per bull, you get the indicated number of points if your shot breaks the line?
I think we need to set up a target page where we (as a group) can download target files.

I've shot that tack driver many times. This one we shoot at the end of our indoor sessions, toonie target. 20 yrds, winner takes the pot.

How come I only count that as 20 tacks driven?

I shoot similar targets at my 25yrd indoor range off a front sand bag. I usually try to put 3 rnds per dot. Takes me a while but shooting both eyes open helps take of some of the "fatigue".
I use a Marlin 981T with a cheap Tasco Varmint 6-24x AO. I always leave impressed how accurate this combo is (with bulk ammo) given how little $$ went into it.

Nice shooting OP….

I'll have to try those tack target.

What magnification do you use ? I've got a 3x9x40 bushnell banner
It's a 3-9 x 33 with AO, I wish they made the same scope in a 40 mm to pick up a bit more light. More magnification would help too, it never goes below 9x unless I'm using it for hunting.

Thanks! That target isn't that hard, there are a couple shots I wasn't happy with though.

Lol, I'm not posting any more scored targets.. tough crowd!

If I was scoring it for you I would have gave you 19, but if scoring it for myself 22 ha ha ha.

Cool target, going to have to make one and try it out, but no way am I posting it up when done lol.

Interesting... 3/8" tacks at 20 yards is 15/8" tacks at 100 yards is a tad under 2 MOA. I can see how much fun that game is!
