Nothing like a new loading press.

Sold my RCBS rock chucker and got a Redding T7, was looking at the Lyman all American 8 but the reviews point in favor of the T7.

I'm all setup to load up some 6.5 Creedmoor! with some new virgin Lapua brass.:) Happy day's.

Jim! I loaded up some 338 Lapua Mag this afternoon, some what of a challenge for any press resizing large heavy belted and magnum cases. The big pro with this press is it's built like a freakin tank and this thing does not seem to show any signs of deflection or flex in the turret and the ram has no play at all in it. The shell holders take a little effort to snap in place and fit real tight, but I don't see that as a con. Here's the thing! it's not a real ###y looking turret press like the Area 419 Zero and it's not reloading bench jewelry by any means but it won't set you back $1700.
The only con I can come up with is it needs a light under the turret. I have no regrets in this purchase.

It shows. My bench looks more like it exploded. Ah well, so did my desk. - dan

That's what happens when you have more stuff than space to store it.

Up until the gun shows were shut down by Covid, I had a modicom neatness happening.

Thankfully, over the next couple of months, much of that stuff will be going to other people to enjoy, for a price of course.

I have to do the same thing. Run out of bench and shelf space. When I travelled for work (for 25 years) I bought a lot on line, and "saved it for retirement". Now I'm retired and I surprise myself when I dig through the boxes I have stored stuff in. Apparently I am a packrat. - dan
