Nothing like the joy of a new shotgun

Well, thanks to Darryl (MadTrapper143), my sister is the proud owner of a Remington 11-87. She got it last night and sat on the couch fondling it until she went to bed

I cut out of work early today and we went up to the mine and shot some clay pigeons. After a few missed shot, she got into the swing (no pun intended ) of things and was busting them regularly. Shot flawlessly with cheap bulk pack Winchesters, Rio's and, what she's going to be using for ducks, 3" Kent's. I must admit it is a lot easier on the shoulder than any of the pumps around the house . On the way home she said "This is the first time after pigeon shooting that my shoulder didn't hurt! "

The smile says it all.

Another happy CGN after a deal with Darryl. I bought a Remington Model 11 16 ga and picked it up the other day from the post office. All things being equal I try it out this weekend. It is better than he claimed.
