NOTICE: Need help to confirm...... New Antique status for handgun (flints, side etc)

NEW UPDATE: EVEN If it was produced AFTER 1898 (or 100 years) and EVEN if it is a Flint lock, Side lock or Wheel Lock.....

Rifle = Antique
Handgun = NOT ANTIQUE.

I just go this info from the customs on Sept. 1, 2010. Was planning on bringing back a Flintlock Pistol, and was told no longer considered an antique.

They had a Chart from 2008.....

That rule has been in since at least 1998. Not exactly "new".

P.S. This nonsense has been on the books for some time, nothing new... and don't ask why it makes absolutely no sense, as no one will give you a rational answer, because none exists. Basically, it's what you get when you put a bunch of half-assed chimps in Parliament and ask them to write you a law, and then to vote on it. A law which will have to be obeyed for decades thereafter...
