Noticed something new today..

I was decapping some 257Wby using a Lee #5 shellholder and their universal decapper, and the case mouths were getting caught up on the rod, it wasn't centered with the mouth.
Checked the die, all good there, rod isn't bent, centered as well as the eye can see, so I tried a Hornady shell holder and now perfectly centered in the case mouth.
So I guess the moral of the story is, check your shellholders as they are not all created equal.

I've had that as well, what was weird with this was the rod was hanging up on the way into the case on the down stroke. I might now have an excuse why my Magnum reloads were never that great, crooked ass shellholder throwing everything off lol.
