This fall I will likely be moving to Cape Breton Island to attend university and experience the culture. I am currently an Ontario resident with valid PAL and Hunting license.
I have a few questions;
-What ranges are there in Cape Breton?
-How much hunting ground is there in Cape Breton, any crown land?
-What hunting licenses are needed? Species I'm interested in are mainly small game, ducks, geese, rabbits, coyotes and wolves, though I'd go for a moose hunt if I had the chance.
-I will be living in residence, what options are available to me for storing my firearms?
Any other general tips or advice on hunting in the Maritimes, or on Nova Scotia and Cape Breton in general would be appreciated as well.
