I want to know who has Novak built/modded pistols ?

how common are they here in Canada ?

How do you like it ?

I know of one, a series-80 Colt Government with the Novak carry package, but the owner chooses not to talk about it. (Here.)

The only Novak that I know of is Kevin B's BHP. A real sweet shooter too.

I've got two Novak guns that I bought off the EE (last year?) from, I assume, the same fellow you got yours from?
Both are accurate and completely reliable pistols.
I prefer the HP to the Colt though - I just can't seem to get a handle on the recoil with the lightwieght commander frame

They are sweet shooters...

I've had a Novak 1911 since the early 90's. Back then you had to get a smith to do most of the things that come standard on a pistol now. I didn't get anything done to the gun to improve accuracy but reliability wise it has served me very well. It cost about $2400 for the gun and the work. Not cheap but worth every penny.
