Novak

I know of one, a series-80 Colt Government with the Novak carry package, but the owner chooses not to talk about it. (Here.)

I've got two Novak guns that I bought off the EE (last year?) from, I assume, the same fellow you got yours from?
Both are accurate and completely reliable pistols.
I prefer the HP to the Colt though - I just can't seem to get a handle on the recoil with the lightwieght commander frame
Why are you selling yours?

You know, Wayne Novak is one of those 'smiths who could get me divorced. If we had regular access to his stuff, I'd be screwed.

The ones I have for sale is KevinB's...

Its the same ones Repete is talking about.

They are sweet shooters...

I was just wondering why they were not more popular...

I've had a Novak 1911 since the early 90's. Back then you had to get a smith to do most of the things that come standard on a pistol now. I didn't get anything done to the gun to improve accuracy but reliability wise it has served me very well. It cost about $2400 for the gun and the work. Not cheap but worth every penny.
