Meh. November was a slow month for me. Losing one's job doesn't help and all...

Just got a '43 (no date stamped but dated based on SN) Savage No4MkI* in the mail from a good buddy. I 'urged' him to buy it a year or so ago because I was broke at the time - kept telling him he was buying it for me and that one day, I'd take it off him. And so it has just become mine.
He also tossed in a sling and a No4MkII bayonet. Good man, he is!
Now I'm broke again.

I'd say I was a rather serious Enfield collector at one point and DID have many of the rare variants, but frankly I've sold most of them off in recent years (to collectors and usually not through CGN) to try new and different things
