Noveske NSR Rail

It a design used to construct shelves in a closet.

It just another gimmick to sell "NEW" Rails to everyone. Everybody has the $300 Rail on their gun, so lets shave off all the rails, put holes in them...call it 'Keymod' and than charge even more for it. Less work, less product, less time More Profit for us.
2-3 years from now there will be another revelation to sell everyone New Rails Again!

The best part is. They shave the rails off the $300 rail....and charge the same or more for it. THEN!! Then They charge You MORE Money to buy Rail Pieces to put them Back On ! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That shows how gullible we are.

+1

I agree with this, no way I'm running out to buy new rails because the keymod is fashionable, especially considering most AR owners have very little to put on there rail anyways, most could have just stuck with A2 hand guards. It does make sense to get the Keymod in the realization that with hard use the rails will get banged up and need to be replaced and the keymods are less susceptible to damage in that sense, but with basic rail panels and latters from Magpul that cost nothing all just stick with that for time being...

Keymod accessories are coming out fairly quickly. Rail pieces are only used to adapt older accessories.

Standards don't change overnight, it is taking momentum compare to a year ago however.

Oh and nobody points a gun to your head to buy keymod system. It's called capitalism by the way.

.

Exactly. Sell New Crap we already have. :) How many QD points do you need? Light holder, etc.

Check out Strike Industries. They have a keymod rail. 1/2 the price of the NSR.

Yeah, well, Bushmaster and Del-ton make AR's that are less than 1/2 the price of Noveske's and Knight's.
What's your point?

As for the Strike handguard, you mean this thing??

Look, I'm sure this handguard may get the job done, but to suggest that the NSR is the same thing, but twice as expensive is ridiculous. NSR's and similar quality AR gear is not designed with airsofters and posers in mind. Most of this stuff is designed by and for guys who use their gear hard.

I am really baffled by this attitude that mocks all new products and innovations. Not all new things are created equal.
NSR w/ Keymod = great. Nautilus rotating rail = garbage.

Well, I like the idea of the Fortis REV rail... keymod on areas that does not need to be railed but still offer build-in QD mounts and front picatinny on 6 & 9 o'clock for your lights and whatnot. All for $200.

Noveske wants $30 for the keymod QD mount whereas they could've incorporated that in for their $300 keymod rail.

Well, Noveske actually doesn't want $300 for their rail, it's more like ~$240 ish. $300 is the price up here in Soviet Kanukistan.
The Fortis REV rail is nice, no doubt. Just remember that the price difference is not $100. Comparing apples to apples, it is much less than that once you factor in importing fees, markup, etc. Down south: 200 vs 240-250. Up here: 240 vs 290-300.
50 bucks either way. Not exactly a world of difference.
