Curious to find how much uppers and lowers from these top dogs can be here in our little market. Also if you guys know of any vendors, dealers or private, please let me know here or PM. I want to go this way after 16 months of "for sure next order" or "i think next week they could be..." Thanks for looking.

Questar was the last guy who got permit on Noveske - I imagine you just have to ask them if they are working on any new permits. They are not items that are being stocked on a regular basis at all.

Both Wolvereine supplies and CRAFM have Daniel Defence.

I have a DD upper I bought from CFRAM. Think I got the last one. Wolverine didnt have any uppers and didnt seem to think they would anytime soon. Should have DD lowers early in the new year from what I recall.

I don't know about Daniel Defense, however Noveske uppers and lowers occaisionally show up on the EE. I typically see about 8 to 10 factory Noveske uppers on the EE each year, some of which have been ones that I have sold. Complete rifles are less common, as are lowers. factory Noveske uppers vary in price range on the EE depending on options (i.e. VIS, SS, SBR, SPR, etc.) A new factory VIS SS upper will go for $1800 to $2200, with the shorter barrel lengths being more popular. A mint/used complete rifle typically sells for $2800 to $3200. The only truly special component of these rifles are the barrel, although Noveske ensures that the finish and fit on his rifles are very good. I think having an entire Noveske branded rifle is more of a collector/resale thing, than a requirement for a quality AR. A Noveske barrel and a good BCG and your good to go for reliability and accuracy. IMHO. If you find a source for Noveske lowers, let me know, I'd like another.

Considering how much Noveske uppers cost in Canada, I'd be inclined to check out the Knights upper since there is a dealer in Canada. That's saying a lot since I'm a Noveske snob. That being said wicked_police is practically a KAC rep, so do elaborate on the upper. I know it has built in BUIS, which is a +, and I've often considered one myself, but I just don't think they are as accurate as the Noveske barrels? Am I wrong? Caveat: I've never handled, or fired one.

P.S. I always get sucked into these, what is the best AR?, threads.

I wish I was a KAC rep, I could get better deals! lol

E3 bolt greatly extends the life of the barrel extension/bolt, longer gas system is softer shooting and more controllable, depending on who you listen to. And the thin profile barrel makes it light and easy to handle.

As far as accuracy, I can get 1"-1.5" at 100m with the NF 1-4 with FC-2 reticle, with 55gr PMC ammo.

One of the armorers at work had 4 shots in about half an inch, and pulled the 5th, opening it to just over an inch.

It is a thin barrel though, so for me, the accuracy is more than good enough for a nice light package.

While the Noveske is most likely more accurate in an academic sense, for what I do, and I suspect most others in the Black Rifle forum, the Knight SR-15 upper is probably more than accurate enough.

Ok. I got the KAC upper all sorted out. Yes, i will get one in jan if the papers will come and they will be able to restock.
I had no intention to start one more "these is better than that" debates. Just wonder about prices as i was looking to get some and sell some. For the plinking purpose any will do (my opinion), unless one is looking for a specific built. They are nice to build, shoot and play with, but have their limitations often ignored by most of the people. One can get more accuracy than AR platform for a fraction of the cost, but we need our LEGO's two.
Cheers.
