Now 5/20 m305 mag issue

I just got a new mag for my m305 from marstar, its a 20 rounder but it wont latch into the rifle, the mag that came with it is fine but this one wont fit.

Has anyone had to do any work to make it fit?

As you try to lock the mag.....pull down on the front, hard

I had this problem with my M14s in a sage and chi-com mags, but not USGI mags.

Sometimes fitting is required.

i had issues with two 20/5 rounders not locking ,try this and see if its the same thing i had.

Yup a little fileing on the rear tab and she fits like a glove now.

glad to hear it.i was a little ,just a little ,miffed when i first got my mags,but am glad they needed a little fitting as they lock up nice without excess slop now.
