Now HERE is a 375!

I've been a .375 fan for much longer than that, but the son of a gun got me onto the 9.3X62!! I was thinking Ted was a pretty good salesman, but now I realize he's a much better angler. Choose the correct bait, a bit of teasing; Now! set the hook, and gently real him in. Oh well, at least I'm in good company on his stringer.

Nice looking gun CUB
BOOMER, funny you should say all that...seems I've just aquired my first 9.3...the bait was thrown by the same angler!!

He does have a .358 Norma fitted to a Boyd's laminated stock on the block, but I didn't bite, it must have your name on it.
Nope, I have a 358Win in the works at Bill Leeper's right now but HAD a 358Norma that I just sold to a young lad I work with. I really like that Norma and would have one if not for the 375.

A lightweight 358Win is a great rifle for this neck of the woods. Perfect for deer in the thick and moose if one has a tag.

Bill is going to throat mine for the 250gr Speers to fit the mag w/o too much jump to the lands.

What stock? Tell me its not a Ti stock...:p

Just got this back this week after getting the Nitron coating to match the stainless to the blued receiver and sights. Matches the Leupold and NECG sights perfectly.

Just in time for moose season! :)

That looks good! Did they pull the barrel off the action, and what was their turn around time? Thanks.

Looks great, Ive been watching this thread for a while. Though I may have kept it in stainless, but it looks great both ways!

Edit: what barrel profile is that? Its too big for a sporter but too small for a target.

Welcome to the stringer, although I suppose you were there first.;) I'm on the hunt for dies today.

Apparently guys I am there, hanging by the gills as well, I bought my first and only 358 win from the same angler. Then after using his 9.3X62 to thump a moose a few years ago decided I should have one of those as well. Now I have a nice CZ 550 FS in 9.3X62. To make it worse I just aquired a 35 Whelen as well to increase the 35 component of my vault fillers. Although not aquired from Ted, he has had many and has spoken very highly of them and his opinion does carry weight with those who know him. He did not influence my 375 love though as I had that before we ever met some 35 years ago.

You can thank Ted Wagner for turning me onto 375s over 15 years ago.
Like I really needed one here in NB, but I did enjoy using it in your neck of the woods two years ago and another in 1998.

He got me going on 35cals too. Mostly the 358Win and the 358Norma to a lesser degree.

And, you have all done so well! :D

Just can't have too many medium bores.
