Now HERE is a 375!

I am very late to the party as usual, but just wanted to add that is a VERY nice looking rifle.

It was great in the Pimp 1.0 two-tone but even better in Pimp 2.0 coated.

Just got this back this week after getting the Nitron coating to match the stainless to the blued receiver and sights. Matches the Leupold and NECG sights perfectly.

Just in time for moose season! :)

I don't like the SS and blued action-barrel...

That looks so much better with the bluing added. Sweet looking rig there.

Why did you leave the front and rear sights on, when you went to the trouble of refinishing the barrel, and had an ideal opportunity to remove them? They're just superfluous items that will catch on things and show up in the scope, especially on the lower powers.

He has the option to remove the glass... how many big magnums come without sights?

I can't imagine being without irons on any of my big rifles, but everybody has their preference I guess...
I think they really enhance the appearance on an already nice rifle in Supercub's case.

Absolutely correct! How could anyone consider owning and using a serious big-game hunting rifle without open sights for back-up use? Or even, in many cases, for primary use!

I HATE this thread! It keeps coming back to life, I keep seeing it and admiring that gun...and eventually it will catch me at a weak moment and my wallet will take a beating!

That obsolete belt adds to the Fuddness of it all.

You undid some Fuddness when you adorned it with the laminate stock. What you need is a Bishop walnut stock with some "folk art"carvings in it, see through rings designed for a chin weld, and your SIN # etched in the receiver.

I'm somewhere in the middle right on the Fudd spectrum. You decribe a hard right Fudd case scenario.

Also a very heavy leather sling with polished brass hardware and extensive game-scene embossed tooling. Complete with cartridge loops of course!

Merry Christmas!

(Nice looking rifle BTW Supercub!)
