Mil-Spec does mean something. My Mossberg 590A1 SPX is Mil-Spec and I would put it up against any shotgun out there for durability.

I do see why you are being sarcastic though. Just let me believe my mags are super duper ok!

P.S. For clarification, this was not done in my gunroom. I tried it with a friend's at the club. I do not insert loaded mags into restricted guns in my home.

My MR223 won't take PMAG's and I would give the Tapco a try...

I have tapco mags for my AK and they are the best mags I have.

If you're going to spend that much on an AR, do it right and get EMags.

Just a follow up. During the CQB match, which I did horrible at, neither my Tapcos or PMags failed. One thing to note, the Tapcos go in much easier than the PMags.

Tapcos seem worth the money, they are beefier than pmags and have the same overall design as them too - fed reliably and I shot 5 rnds as fast as I could with no problems either.

Not in a Tavor, anyway (you have to reduce it to 4 rounds).
