I'm also interested to know if the barrel is lined in any way. Looks similar to their AM-15 keymod on the manufacturer website. It doesn't say it is...thus I'm going to assume it has no lining?

Do you guys plan on bringing in their R85 rifles? The claims seem interesting on the finish. Have seen a YouTube video by late boyscout where he put it to the test.... 2500 rounds with no lube
 
Without knowing what components were used to build this particular AR, Anderson barrels and components overall are a notch better than what you get with S&W Sport 2 and the Bushmaster, and considerably better than Norinco. Not quite as refined as the Colt/Dimaco, DD or even the newest Gen of NEA AR's. But for an entry level it is a big plus that it comes with a keymod rail.

Mind you, a few suppliers sell the barrels which you can get chrome lined and stainless steel, etc... as well as the components.
 
Assuming the maccabee goes as planned it would be neat to see an ar builders package for around this price, with an 18.5 barrel and no receiver.

Just an idea. :)
 
Iraqveteran8888 uploaded a "S&W 15 sport ii meltdown" to his youtube channel not long ago, it held up pretty good for its price.
 
Damn, that's a good deal. Free floated .223 wylde barrel for $700? Definitely worth it over the MP15s.
