I live my P226 with SRT and I wanted something a bit differant to go with it. I picked up a P239 Tactical and I am very happy with it. The factory grips were a bit hard to hold so I added Hogue rubber wrap arounds. My favourite grips are from the G10 lineup but I don't know if they would make the gun fit my hand like the rubber ones.

Questar listed them as out of stock right after I bought mine and I think getting the P239 Tactical I believe is the only way to get ten round mags. If you are looking for something for smaller hands or just something not everyone else has the P239 is quite nice.

I has 3 P226's (black, two tone and ST), P220ST and a 1911 Carry. If you want a .40 go with 226 but I find they have a lot of muzzle flip compared to most other guns.

I like the P226 with the non-E2 grip and the regular (i.e. non short reach) trigger. The E2 grip forced my hand too low on the backstrap and the short trigger was, to me, too short (and I have small hands). I've got .40 P226 with a.357SIG barrel that is a blast to shoot.

I used to have a P239 which I also liked very much. It's like a semi-compact, but shoots as accurate as a full size Sig. I was getting consistent 4 inch groups at 25 metres and I'm a very mediocre shot. I think Williams Arms has one for sale.

P220 , 9mm, German, with SRT and Equinox grips... its rediculously accurate!

I've had a few Sigs come and go, but this one is the keeper. Ive actually sold off my other handguns as this is the only one I shoot. My kid(s) will inherit this beauty

Finally ordered a brand new Sig Sauer P220R Sightron with night sights, an extra set of gorgeous Blackwood grips and 3 extras 10 rounds mags, my needs are covered in the Sig dept... JP.

I'm not a fan of the the Nitron finish. Always seems to have an "uneven" dull look to it. That said my p220 Combat shot dead-on right out of the box and functioned flawlessly.
IMO you should get a Glock(21SF gen4) to go with it…actually get 3 Glocks:)
