Now Taking Deposit on Kel-Tec RDBs

Kel Tec messaged me on FB when I asked ETA. "I think we are getting close. I wish I had a better answer" was the reply. I hope they make it in time if the rumors by the fear mongers are right about reclassification
 
I'm going to be a big baby and suck my thumb on this topic for a moment.

How can ya have a pre order for a rifle ,
set limits that sell out .

The Vault has no idea when they are coming.
And Kel Tel has no idea when they are coming ?
And Wanstalls has no idea either .

I read the disclaimer ... date subject to change .
I'm a big boy I read it understood it .

The impass for me isn't a problem with "subject to change"

I have a problem with.
SUBJECT TO We never really knew.
SUBJECT TO There is nothing we can do to find out.
SUBJECT TO people ( distribution ) accepts money but we don't provide updates
SUBJECT TO are they made and ready? Don't know.
SUBJECT TO are they in shipping ? Don't know.
SUBJECT TO are they even made yet ? Dont know.
SUBJECT TO What caused the delay ? Don't Know .

SUBJECT TO change is Fine by me

SUBJECT TO indifference and cluelessness is Not.

I stop sucking my thumb now and carry on.

Sad thing customer service sometimes is dependant on who has your money and when...
And we end up being their ##### instead of the customer...6 months from now after the toys are out and a few are then posted on EE
This too will blow over after the initial reviews and critiques ...till the next time...

As I was saying a while back, the guns were scheduled to be built mid February with tbe 20 inch barrel. I was told by manny no no , we are expecting them mid February with a 18.5 inch. Guess who was wrong with the date...guess what they will be wrong with also...
 
So from what you've said... You think that kel tec has allocated us rifles vault had pre sold those rifles to the number of merchants but they are technically RDB—C with 20 inch barrels. And Keltec is holding the shipment to give them time to cut 1.4 in off the barrel and then ship them to us? So that the product arrives matches the description the merchants have been usually given in the beginning?

18.5 and not 20

Basically the delay is the barrels are getting cut down?

I have old info from January, but was told no special 18.5 inch barrel just the US 20 inch. Il guess we will see what comes in.

Just hope they don't screw up and cut them down to 16' .. like they did with the FX then need months of waiting time to be re-barreled. Actually in a bullpup like this I may consider 20'.
