Hello, I have a norinco np-17 9mm, The mag does not want to release when the button is pushed. The only way the mag will come out is if you remove the clip that is holding the slide stop and then move the pin that goes through the slide out just a little then it will release the mag. I looked inside the gun and the piece that sticks through on the slide stop that goes into the internals of the gun hits the mag. i can assemble the gun and the mag will release but as soon as the gun is cocked it goes back to being jammed. someone please help and i will provide pics, if needed, thanks ahead for all the help

okay upon further examination i noticed that when the guns mag is out of ammo the slide stop gets puched up by the inside of the mag. the problem is that somehow the part of the slide stop that makes contact with the top of the feed ramp in the mag is getting caught beside the mag. any thoughts on this, any one have this problem, thanks
alright , i helped my self. the problem was that the mag spring was in wrong, their is more spring on one side that goes under the feed ramp where the slide stop gets pushed up by the mag. when the mag was not under the feed ramp it did not have enough tension to keep the slide stop from forcing its way under the lip of the mag ramp. now that the spring is positioned correctly under the ramp it has enough tension from keeping the internal piece of the slide stop from slidding under the lip of the mag. so if anyone learns a lesson from this then its worth the post. kinda funny that i replied to my self. i guess im just a nut
