My buddy just bought a Norinco NP-20 from marstar and is very put off by the finish. It may shoot well and reliably but I he is not prepared to wait and may sell the gun cheaply just to get it out of his sight. Does anyone have any experience with these pistols? Can you get decent grips for them? Thanks in advance.

I gotta say that for a 230$ gun, the fit & finish is actually quite good (on the one I had the occasion to shoot, which wasn't mine). Of course it's not really comparable to higher grade guns, the bluing is shallow and can easily be worn off, and the grips aren't that good. You could try to get the pistol re-blued by a gunsmith to have a deeper, richer blue, but it might cost as much as the gun itself.
I think that unless you get custom-made grips, those grips are most likely the only option you'll have as I think only Norinco produces this pistol.
