OK, so here is a quick pic of my NP-22 with a set of walnut grips. Whilst the plastic grips were quite serviceable I wanted to tidy this bargain pistol up just a little bit. The grips came from a place called “grips4u”. They needed a very small amount of prepping to fit, about 20mins work, I am guessing that the NP22 has slightly different grip screw inserts compared to a Sig.
Overall, for the price, I think the NP22 is a pretty good deal. You really do get what you pay for; don't expect this to be a built like a SIG or CZ or whatever (I don't doubt Norinco could do it, but not at this price point). As has been noted the double action trigger pull is heavy, single action is OK. Overall fit and finish is as expected for a sub four hundred dollar gun. It shoots as good as me, so I can't really comment on accuracy - all shots on the target at 25yds. If I ever get round to it I may tinker with the mainspring and try and sort out the trigger.
