I respectfully disagree.
IMHO, Norinco did not steal the design.
No more than Kimber, or S&W, or any of over fourty or so other manufacturers of the 1911 platform over the years.
Any patents have long since expired.
The design and blueprints/specs, have been in the public domain for a long time.
