Geez, it will be a good thing when the 'slow boat' gets here & there are more of the cheap [er, I mean 'inexpensive'] Norc 1911's available... Especially, the NP-29 single stack 9mm. Might even consider buying one myself this time around... Anybody else? :confused: :D
 
I had one and I enjoyed it, probably the only Norinco to buy IMHO. Mine ran like a champ and I got great service from Mec Gar 9 round mags.

I would have kept it but I like double stack Glocks or CZ's more!
 
Sorry guys, I digged this one up because I've also been wondering about the arrival time of more NP-29s.

Anyone knows anything?

Ususaly it should not take so much time for new inventory to come in, unless something is wrong..... either here or at the source.......

I got a call today from Marstar advising that the NP29 and M305 rifles are waiting customs clearance and they are getting the paper work done. Eric advised he expects about a 30 day period before they can ship.

That is the old style.......check marstars website for the new version.
When I bought mine, the pic above was what they had posted.....the one that arrived was a bit different: Flat style rubber wrap around grips, regular length safety, standard colt type beavertail safety.
Finish is pretty decent though.

I do. Last thing I did was fit a match bushing to the 9mm barrel.....I was amazed at how much better it shot.
It's the only nork I have ever considered actually keeping for good.
 
Hey, looks like the "slow boat" has finally arrived & the goods cleared customs. :eek:

I see on the Schmarstar website they have Norc 1911's again "in stock"... So how many of you are ordering NP-29's this time around? :confused:
 
I am still waiting to hear if they actually got them on there last container:confused: I put my order a couple of weeks ago so lets hope I will get it soon.
