Np-40

ahh yes Norincos are crap... here we go again, ...you know what they say about opinions right?

Have to say my NP-58 has been great. The nice thing about Norc's are you can buy it, try it, and if you don't like it, sell it for pretty much what you paid... of course I've yet to reach the sell it stage yet :)

I have the CZ clone in 40 cal and a real CZ in 9mm. Both needed a trigger job. Probably the most accurate semis that i own. Both are favourites to shoot because they are solid steel.

The real one has a better finish, but other than that I see no difference.

I also have 3 of the SIG clones and 3 1911 clones. All work and shoot very well. I have a hundred or so "real' guns to compare them to. I don't see the Norcs as a step down in quality or in accuracy or in functionality - only a step down in price. I use that price advantage as the money for grips, sights and a trigger job and the result is a gun actually better than the out-of-the-box original.

Chacun a son gout.

I have the NZ-85B and love it, reliable, eats up reloads with no problem and being a most likely below average handgun shooter I can still put all shots in a standard target at 25m with it off hand. My fixed sights are dead on, finish is excellent for a norinco (better than my 1911 clone). My thoughts, for the money, it's an excellent handgun. I have shot a NP-40 and it was of similar quality.

have a good one
Dana
