Np-58

disliked it.
well at the time i liked it then i got to use a quality gun, now i can justifyably say it was junk. I thought it was cool when i had it tho.

You may like it too if you like 16" groups at 22 yards benchrested.

No FTF/FTE issues with mine. Accuracy about 1.5 inch groups at 7 meters, POI is a little left and a little high. I am a lousy shot because of ageing eyes. Good enough for me. Only used reloads so far.

Trigger is stiff in both DA (estimate 15 lbs) and SA (8 lbs?) but expect this to improve as I have less than 100 rounds through it.

I do not like expensive guns, so I like it because for the price IMO, it works better than it should.

Dropped a Sig 9mm slide and barrel on mine and it works great. Sold the other parts here on the board.
Well over a 1000 rounds through it now and the trigger has smoothed right out.
YMMV

No problem. Just curious because your question came up just when that NP58 listing appeared so I thought your OP was related.

These NP58s are not available from dealers today, and when they were last available early last year at $349.00, they were snapped up quickly. As well, Norinco magazines were 35 bucks each when they were available. Canadaammo sold their NP58s with 2 mags, Marstar with one. New Sig (Mecgar) mags from some CGN dealers are around 50 bucks.

Few NP58s ever come up, well at least I hardly ever see them, on the EE.

My NP58 came in a trade package last September, and was valued by myself at 300 bucks, with 50 shots fired and one magazine.
