Just brought it home from Post Office. No cert yet so I can't take it to range until then =(
Here is what I found so far:
1) If you have a NP22 grip kicking around you can use it instead of the horrendous rubber grip came with it. I used to hate the NP22 grip but if you compare side by side the NP22 grip is like heaven
2) Above led me to think if any P226 grip will work? (with some light mod?) I never put on P226 on my NP22 but I changed it to E2 grip and changed the hammer spring housing etc.
3) I can't answer if SRT kit works or not. I am not planning to put it on for my NP22 had issue when the SRT kit is on. It experienced something random like light primer strike (during double action and ONLY during double action) but primer was didn't even recorded a strike mark. Doesn't happen every time but unpredictable enough. I tested with laser ammo and found that not even triggered the laser ammo. Putting factory parts back in and not an issue. So I would stay away from using the SRT kit on either the NP22 or NP762
4) Since the screw position of the grip is the same as NP22 I have reason to believe that the E2 Grip kit will work as well. However I have to take into consideration that the hammer spring for the NP762 might need to be stronger for the surplus ammo. To be honest, the double action on the NP762 was much better than the NP22 factory. The double action pull is still hard but no where as unpredictable as the NP22. For the NP762 I can pull and hold double action and release at will every single time. So there is no need to change IMO.
Now I will have to finally take it to the range to see how it perform.
