Hello
Just browsing for to add a 9mm to my collection and trying to figure out if the new np22 will take the sig p226 mags with some minor filing?
OR....spend a bit more and get a Girsan ...with the Black Friday sales coming I may be making a purchase...maybe...
thanks
Glenn.

Loved my np-22 so much I bought the sig...then got the np-58... Both great products, shot really well, pretty sure they took sig mags no problem...

From what I understand, it is hit and miss in regards to SIG mags fitting. My wife's NP22 would not lock real SIG mags into place. I chose to take a couple .001 off the bottom of the mag-well instead of adjusting the magazine. Now both SIG and Norinco mags fit and run reliably. It's a sweet little pistol, after you lighten up the trigger pull.

So I changed the grip on my np22 to a hogue grip (great purchase). It recommends changing the trigger bar spring to a new style one for reliability reasons (haven't shot it with new grip). If I do require one, has anyone sourced this spring or a full spring kit? I've found some from American sites but shipping is 6x the part cost lol. My google-fu has failed me so I'm turning to the CGN community. Thanks in advanced. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2016! Safe shooting!

I don't see any on their site but I'll shoot them an email and see if they can bring in parts with their next order. Can't hurt to try.

Get the girsan all the way it is worlds better than the np-22 as its has the same tooling as a berretta, it's used by the Turkish military and its still only 550$ (with Boxing Day sales)
