hey everyone! after much consideration, i just ordered my first ever pistol from marstar. i decided to go for the norinco np29. i'm just wondering if i can just just go out and get a new set of grips for it, as the stock ones look pretty rough, and kinda bulky too (my hands aren't all too big) can someone please pont me in the right direction about getting new grips for it? any comments on the gun itself would be welcome as well! thanks a lot guy, this forum is a godsend!

Any 1911 Government grips can go on the NP-29, no alternations needed.

I had a pair of Hogue thin panel grips on it, but also bought a pair of rosewood grips too. Rubber grip feels best in hand, but wood grips looks better.

Try the stock grips before you decide to change them. Their appearance may not be everyone's cup of tea, but you may find them to be quite useful.

The rubber grips on my NP-29 are FUGLY and smell like burnt tires. But they fit my medium sized hands well, are comfortable to shoot and the pistol points well.

great. its good to know i can put on a new set of grips without worries. i'll definately give the stock grips a chance. thx a lot guys!
