Serial number should be on the frame not the slide

are you talking about ingraving "1911" or 'erasing' the markings?

Range, target shooting, fun, a toy to pay with at home - the usual. But I need more than a chunk of metal with trigger that goes bang most of the time when you pull it hard enough.

I own one Norinco -Woodsman .22 I bought it because I wanted a cheapest gun that shoots the cheapest ammo availabe (so I can save money on ammo in the long run). I don't regret getting one, but it has no sentimental value and I wouldn't miss it if I sold it. I don't really need another meaningless gun. I want something I enjoy looking at as much as I like shooting it!

Never seen the NP-30N in person so can't speak about it, If it's better than the Norincos I own/shot/seen I'll buy one.

It's easy to pick flaws on photos 5 times the original size...Spenc would you like to post some hi-res photos of your "much higher quality 1911 than the Taurus" (incl. internals, beavertail, trigger, sights). This is Norinco theread after all; I'm sure we'd all love to see them. :)
 
I saw these guns on the internet a few years back and check marstar once in awhile but I can only find the standard 4 models, Patman44 where did you order from and how much? Do they have the sinlge stack nickel plate
 
Sold out? That was fast.....and highly unsexy for everyone else that wanted one. I try and post a bunch of nice pics when I get it.


I wonder when these things actually ship out. It's supposed to be soon.

Yeah I saw they were out yesterday :eek: they were on sale for only 4 days...Mixed fealings here, first kinda hated missing the chance but now I'm kinda releaved that I didn't get something I probaby wouldn't be happy with....

I called a couple of days ago just to make sure my online order for a 1911-A1 had been processed. I was told it should be shipped in about 2 1/2 weeks.

I think it was about 2 1/2 weeks about 2 1/2 weeks ago, so you might have have your shiny new Nork in time for christmas, if you are lucky. Sometime in the new year for certain.

I'm ok I have my MP30 to play with:)
